I thoroughly enjoyed the space I had when I was staying at the Suite you provided. Thank you, for the professionalism and friendly staff who provided me with new linens and clean room in-between stay. Your front desk staff, were very helpful when it came time to changing rooms, and needing a new card, at the time I needed one. Staff in the dining room, went out of there way to prepare one breakfast, which I ordered from my room. Was fresh, and hot when I returned Tomy room. Much appreciation for the over all staff at your location. See you in a month!! -Ellyzabethe Gillies

I liked that the building was over 100 years old and didnt smell old and musty. I love that some of the hotel’s original features are still there, doors with brass knobs, the stair case etc. I stayed on the 5th floor and it was like stepping back in time when you got off the elevator, kinda cool. The staff were friendly , my room was clean and the view from my window of the sleeping giant was awesome. P.S, love that you can watch the trains roll through, honestly.

Best view I have ever had out my hotel windows. The lake, big ships moored for the night, lighthouse, rail lines, skateboarders, public marina and waterfront, historic train station and visitors bureau, and, the Sleeping Giant centered in my view. Wow. Room was really big. I was on the third floor, and i think the view would only have been even better from higher. I also wish I had more time to explore the hotel to see the fantastic history of the building more.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. This time I stayed in room 519 which is a two room suite with a large spa bath in a separate room as well. This room overlooks the harbour, sleeping giant, and the marina on Lake Superior. The view at night was just gorgeous. They have improved their dinner menu and the food now is very good and well priced. Breakfast was also excellent -- of course both come with quite the view.

This hotel is very nice, I like the character of old buildings. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The view was fantastic! The suite we stayed in had a jacuzzi tub and it was everything I had hoped for. Very clean. They also have security guards patrolling the parking lot and main areas of the hotel which is appreciated. I had gotten an amazing deal on the room online and was not disappointed.
